What does the first set of Invisalign do?

Invisalign is a tooth straightening treatment everyone uses to get a straight, better-looking smile. You must use a different set of Invisalign trays for around 6-12 months, depending on your teeth condition, to get a perfectly straight smile. It is vital to wear all the Invisalign trays as directed by your dentist to make sure you do not talk behind on your Invisalign treatment. The experience of the first set of Invisalign differs from person to person. Some patients see visible differences in their teeth positioning; some do not see any difference, but it is completely normal as everyone is different so is the treatment result and process.

How does the first Invisalign set work?

During the first few weeks of Invisalign treatment, your first set of aligners could feel very snug and tight in your teeth. It is completely normal to feel some discomfort and soreness while using the first few Invisalign trays, but it will subside as you get used to the treatment. The first tray of Invisalign aligners sits in your teeth tightly, providing the required amount of pressure to move your teeth slightly to a better position. This process can cause discomfort and pain but will subside slowly. Most people don’t notice any difference in their teeth after the first Invisalign tray, but that does not mean your Invisalign tray is not working.First Invisalign tray can also cause a slight lisp in your speaking, but you should not remove it and speak as much as possible while wearing the aligners to get used to it quickly. In addition, if you find yourself moving your tongue over the aligners, make a conscious effort to stop doing that, as it can cause soreness in your gums and teeth.

Lastly, if you face any problem with your Invisalign treatment, you must consult your dentist for proper treatment.
